The Hawkins Family

We are a family of four that is sold out for Jesus! A few years ago, we sold our house and many of our earthly belongings to go where God was leading us. We have seen some of God’s most beautiful creations and have been able to serve the Lord while traveling and working out of our “home on wheels.” Through our travels, the Lord has brought many incredible people into our lives and given us clarity for our next steps of faith!

We have known all along that wherever we go and whatever we do, we are to do it together as a family. We are walking with the Lord and are committed to obeying Him in faith. We praise God in every situation!

God has called us to reach the unreached with the Gospel while Sharing our Faith, Showing the Love of the Father, Nurturing and Strengthening Families and to Care for the Forgotten (F4 Missions).

Through caring for and sharing the love of Jesus with all, we believe we can reach entire families and communities. We are gaining souls for the Kingdom of God and giving Him all the glory!

After a season in Spain and Romania, God has called us back to our homeland. We will be building and growing relationships, training, and reaching the unchurched to watch God change and transform lives!

We ask that whoever reads this prayerfully consider financially supporting us on this journey God has us on. If you can’t help us financially, please lift our family in prayer because we can’t do anything without prayer!

We look forward to you joining us in God’s work!

In His Love,

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matthew 28:19

Although both originally from Indiana, it was in Colorado in 2005 that God brought Brian and Kati together. Four years later we returned to Indiana and were married in 2010. Then in 2012 the Lord blessed us with our first child Madalyn, and two years later in 2014 with our second, Winston.  Though we may have not always been aware of God’s presence throughout the years it is very clear now that He has always been with us guiding our path!

Kati’s love of Christ Jesus and her family is evident to all who meet her.  The Lord has given Kati a heart of compassion, especially for children and animals.  She is a devoted wife, mother, teacher and homemaker.

Brian’s heart is to serve others and tell them about the love of Jesus!  He is a hard working, playful Dad and loving committed husband.

What is your favorite verse?

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.  Colossians 2:6,7

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:9

Why are you willing to leave everything you know to go?

We believe that God has called our family to go and serve and we don’t want to be anywhere besides right where He wants us!

Meet The Kids

Madalyn

Madalyn is a 12 year old adventurous young lady who loves Jesus, family and friends!  A few of her favorite things are animals, anything purple, art, books, and exploring.  She takes care of our outside plants and makes sure the birds are well fed at our bird feeders.  Madalyn enjoys learning through books and loves to spend her time reading. Her favorite subject in school is Animal Science.

What does it mean to you to be on mission?

It means sharing the Gospel and helping in the community and helping people!

Winston

Winston is a 10 year old energetic boy who loves Jesus and his family!  A few of his favorite things are dinosaurs, anything green, adventures, and science experiments.  He loves playing with his friends and family. He likes to laugh and tells jokes. Winston’s favorite subject in school is Math. He is open and not afraid to talk to anyone about anything.  Hugs are a Winston specialty!

What does it mean to you to be on mission?

What being on a mission to me is, sharing Jesus’ love with people and not just forcing them to believe, instead like we did, ask them if anyone has told them that Jesus loves them, and if they say yes I just ask if they want a bracelet and we talk to them about things.  We ask them if they have accepted Christ into their lives and if not we explain to them who he is and what he did for us.
